I purchased a Haier dishwasher, model XF 5C7M0X-17, on December 23, 2023, for approximately $460 USD. Since March 2024, the product has experienced continuous and recurring malfunctions, and despite numerous visits from authorized service technicians, the problems have never been permanently resolved. The dishwasher has rarely worked properly since the day it was installed. From the very beginning, the machine had serious defects. The lower rack could not slide due to a faulty wheel, the detergent was not dispensed correctly, and the dishes came out dirty. Later, the dishwasher completely stopped working due to a main control board failure. Over time, spray arm parts broke off, a rack component snapped, and the machine repeatedly displayed a “no water” error. Several parts, including an internal component and the hose, were replaced, yet the problems continued. Most recently, the dishwasher again showed a “no water” error, locked itself, and became completely unusable.
On December 14, 2025, I opened another service request. The authorized Haier service responsible for the Sarıyer–Tarabya area in Istanbul visited my home and stated that they would contact the head office regarding a refund. However, almost one month has passed, and I have received no response from the service team, customer support, or the Haier WhatsApp line. During this time, the dishwasher has remained out of order, and I have been forced to wash all dishes by hand for weeks. The product is covered by a 3-year warranty, yet the number of defects, breakdowns, and repeated repairs is completely unacceptable for a relatively new appliance. I can document this situation with more than ten service records, including service record no. 0034711, as well as video evidence clearly showing the malfunctions.
Given these recurring defects, the extended period without a usable dishwasher, and the lack of a clear solution despite repeated service attempts, I formally request either a full refund of the purchase price or a replacement with a new, defect-free product. If this issue is not resolved promptly, I will apply to the Consumer Arbitration Committee and am prepared to pursue my legal rights.
