I recently purchased Royal Canin Sterilised 10kg cat food, but when I opened the bag, I immediately noticed that the color and smell were different from the original product. I have been feeding my cats Royal Canin for 10 years, and they have never reacted this way. They wouldn’t even touch this food! They sniffed it and walked away, refusing to eat even after an entire day despite being hungry and meowing for food.
This product was clearly fake, and I am outraged! We trust Royal Canin for quality, yet counterfeit products are being sold, risking our pets' health and damaging the brand’s reputation. Immediate action must be taken to identify and penalize these sellers.
The seller did eventually accept the return and refunded my money, but it took 10 unnecessary days, during which my cats had no food, and I was left stressed, wondering if I’d even get my money back. This issue must be resolved at a larger scale to prevent pet owners from facing similar problems in the future!
