My Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra Broke in Just a Month of Use

I bought the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra robot vacuum about 3.5 to 4 months ago for our home in Mersin, paying a whopping ₺68,000 because it was advertised as one of the best models. For 1.5 months, we weren’t even at home—we were in Ankara—so we didn’t use it. In total, we used it for only about one month, and even then, no more than twice a week. After every use, we cleaned it meticulously, including the side mopping module. Despite this care, right before the holiday, it suddenly started showing an F56 error code. When we looked it up online, it pointed to the side module, but it looked perfectly clean. We sent it in for service, and they claimed hair and lint had gotten inside—something we absolutely couldn’t have accessed to clean ourselves. Still, they had no problem labeling it “user error.” This is clearly a design or manufacturing flaw. I later saw many similar complaints online about the exact same F56 error. Even worse, despite the device being nearly brand new and under a two-year warranty, they demanded ₺3,122 for repairs—again blaming us. How can this be our fault? It’s a robot vacuum; of course it will suck up dust and hair. And what if it happens again? Will I keep paying for their poor design? I absolutely do not recommend this Roborock model to anyone. Roborock must fix this issue and cover the repair under warranty.
