Latest Update Broke My Phone’s Camera and Now I’m Asked to Pay ₺1,500 for Repair

After the most recent software update, my phone completely stopped recording videos. When I contacted the company about the issue, they admitted they were aware of the problem and told me that a new update would be released by the weekend to fix it. That was nearly a month ago, and there has been no update since.

When I followed up, they told me to bring the phone to one of their stores. Although several locations in Ankara were still listed as active on their website, I found out many had actually closed down. After much effort, I finally found an open branch. The staff there were polite and tried to help by contacting the central office.

To my shock, I was told I needed to pay ₺1,500 for a replacement—even though the phone is in perfect physical condition, still under valid warranty, and the issue was clearly caused by their own software update.

I don’t understand the logic: the company breaks my phone with their faulty update, then demands money to fix it. This is completely unacceptable. I expect the issue to be resolved without charging me, and I urge the company to take full responsibility for the damage caused by their software.
