Unauthorized iPhone 13 Pro Max Repair Issue
I entrusted my phone to the Apple Zorlu Center service, only to be told that unauthorized repairs were detected, and they wanted ₺48,800 for the fix. Despite the device not being under warranty, I refused to accept this staggering amount without proper documentation. The authorized personnel at the store advised me to reject the charge and demand a refund. Upon checking the system, they claimed a 'Battery Replacement' cost of ₺2,000, something I hadn't requested as my initial complaint involved different issues.
Upon the phone's return from the depot to the store, they suggested I pick it up and file a complaint. Upon inspection at home, I discovered an unexpected 'Battery Repair' had been performed— the battery, initially at 88%, was now miraculously restored to 100% with an alleged replacement of an original iPhone part. The device, initially taken in for a motherboard issue, underwent an absurd transformation. My experience with Apple and its service has been far from satisfactory. I've filed a complaint with the Consumer Arbitration Board, hoping for a swift resolution to my ordeal.
