QCY T13 Earbuds Had a Sync Issue and Service Tried to Charge ₺700 for Replacement
I purchased the QCY T13 ENC 4 microphone Bluetooth wireless earbuds from www.hepsiburada.com. However, after some time, a synchronization issue began with the earbuds. That is, both earbuds worked, but they did not work at the same time. When I contacted the manufacturer, they told me to reach out to Hepsiburada.com. I contacted Hepsiburada.com requesting either a replacement or repair, and I sent the product back to them. They forwarded the product to QCY's authorized service center. However, the service center stated that dirt had gotten into the product, causing it to malfunction. In my conversation with the service center, I explained that both earbuds were working, but just not at the same time. The service center then informed me that I had the option to pay an additional ₺700 and receive the QCY T13 ANC TWS model. However, after a quick search on the internet, I found that the same product was already being sold for ₺649 on Akakce.com. Although the authorized service claims that the product isn't working due to dirt and blockage, the problem is not that the earbuds aren't working, but that they don't work simultaneously. The service center hasn't provided a logical explanation connecting dirt or blockage to the earbuds' malfunction. Why is a corporate company trying to sell me a product for ₺700 extra when it is already available for ₺650 on the market? Do corporate companies engage in deception? During our WhatsApp conversation, the company further discredited itself by pulling the lawyer card. Honestly, it's not about the money for me. But now it's become a matter of principle. I will take this to consumer rights. Most likely, the Consumer Rights Arbitration Board will rule for a refund. When I bought the earbuds, they cost ₺350, whereas now they are priced at ₺1,699 on Hepsiburada.com.
