Oysho Refused to Replace Leggings That Developed a Hole After First Use

On May 3, 2026, I purchased a pair of leggings from the Oysho store located in Marmara Park, Beylikdüzü, for approximately $43. A few days ago, I wore the leggings for the first time and only realized there was a hole in the back of the garment after my daughter pointed it out. I had never noticed the defect before and was surprised to discover such damage during the product’s initial use.
Today, I took the leggings back to the store to explain the situation and request assistance. However, instead of evaluating the issue objectively, the store employees immediately classified it as user damage and refused to accept any responsibility. They even stated that they would not send the product for inspection. Rather than properly examining the defect, they attempted to dismiss my complaint with comparisons and explanations that I found unreasonable and unrelated to the actual problem.
I have been wearing leggings for many years and have never experienced a product developing a hole during its very first use. For that reason, I cannot accept the claim that this issue was caused by misuse. A garment that becomes damaged immediately after being worn for the first time should be carefully evaluated for possible manufacturing or material defects.
I purchased these leggings because I genuinely liked the product and expected the quality associated with the brand. Since I believe the item is defective, I am requesting a replacement with the same model in proper condition. I also ask that the product be professionally inspected and that my complaint be handled fairly and objectively.
