In 2021, I purchased a pair of Nine West heeled shoes, expecting long-term quality from a brand with such a strong reputation. However, despite being barely worn and stored carefully, the leather on the shoes began peeling on its own.
This wasn’t caused by usage, wear, or environmental conditions. It deteriorated while sitting in storage, which is not acceptable for a supposedly premium product. Genuine leather or even quality synthetic materials shouldn't degrade like this without being used.
I don’t see this as a normal consequence of age or wear—this is clearly a material defect. I'm deeply disappointed and feel let down by a brand I once trusted for its craftsmanship.
If this is what can be expected from Nine West shoes after just a short time, then sadly, this may be the last product I buy from the brand. I urge Nine West to take this issue seriously and evaluate the materials being used, because this level of quality is simply not acceptable. A refund or replacement would be the appropriate way to restore customer confidence.
