I purchased my New Balance 530 sneakers from the New Balance Akbatı Mall store in August 2024, and I have experienced a tear and excessive wear in the mesh upper that I believe is entirely due to a manufacturing defect. Even though I have never washed the shoes in a washing machine, the mesh section tore and became deformed on its own.
I bought the product with a 2-year warranty and submitted it for inspection on January 1, but the evaluation result was negative. I then sent the shoes in for a second inspection, yet today I received another rejection, again without any justification being accepted. As a customer, it is not reasonable for the mesh upper of a shoe to tear in this way; despite this, the issue is being classified as user error and excluded from warranty coverage.
Paying a significant amount for a product advertised with a 2-year warranty, only for it to deteriorate this quickly and for the brand to refuse responsibility, has been deeply disappointing. I am requesting that New Balance acknowledge the manufacturing defect and replace my shoes under warranty.
