On 19.01.2024, I purchased a pair of New Balance 530 shoes from the Kent Park store, paying ₺5,000. Despite wearing them only a few times a week under normal conditions, the mesh part of one shoe tore within a short period of time. This is the first time I have experienced such an issue with a pair of sneakers, and it clearly should not happen so quickly with a product in this price range.
I filed a complaint and contacted both the store and New Balance customer service twice. However, my requests were rejected each time with the explanation that the tear was caused by “user error” and not related to product quality. I strongly disagree with this assessment. A premium brand like New Balance should not dismiss legitimate quality issues in this way.
Given the high purchase price and short usage period, I believe I am entitled to a fair resolution. My invoice serial number is 033074. I am requesting a full refund for my New Balance 530 shoes and expect New Balance to stand by the quality it promises to its customers.
I urge the brand to address my complaint seriously and resolve my issue without further delay.
