Failure To Cancel MyIQ Subscription
I am writing about an issue with the MyIQ Helpline subscription, which I accessed from New Zealand via my computer on the Slingshot network. I requested cancellation of this subscription on or about 30 November, several times since then, but MyIQ has still not cancelled it and continues to make this very difficult. To cancel, they insist that a confirmation code must be used, which they say will be sent to me, yet no such code has ever arrived. Because the code never comes, it is impossible to complete the cancellation process through their website. Due to this, I sent three separate emails to their help desk, but none of these emails have received any response. Despite my clear cancellation request, made five days before the first payment, MyIQ still took a payment of NZD 53.27 for the monthly subscription. I consider this an unauthorized transaction, as I had already asked for the service to be cancelled before that charge was processed, and I do not want to be billed again. I request that MyIQ immediately cancels my subscription without any further conditions, refunds the payment of NZD 53.27 that has already been taken, and ensures that no additional charges will be made to my card in the future.
