I Faced High ATM Fees and Top Up Problems With Moreta Pay

I tried Moreta Pay when I was in Chiang Mai in early August 2025, thinking it would help me keep track of my travel expenses, but it was a pain. I needed cash on August 3, but the ATM withdrawal fees were so high that every transaction cost a lot more than other ways to get cash. A few days later, on August 6, I tried to add money through the app, but my foreign debit card didn't work. It was annoying that I had to look for a specific exchange booth because I was staying outside of the main tourist area. Moreta Pay didn't make things easier; it made them harder and cost more. I wouldn't tell anyone to go there.
