While I was in Bangkok, I tried Moreta Pay, and to be honest, it wasn't worth the trouble. The high fees for withdrawing cash from ATMs are the worst part. If you need cash, you'll have to pay a lot more than with other services. Also, it's not easy to add money to the card online. You have to go to an exchange booth to top up, which is a pain if you aren't close by. It's also hard to add money to your account because foreign debit or credit cards are often not accepted. The extra costs and lack of flexibility made it more stressful than helpful for me.
