I tried to confirm my account on Sumsub so I could take money out of a platform running their system. I was suddenly driven to go through the last verification step even after doing all others. The app wouldn't move so I tried again, this time making sure my camera was on. I contacted Sumsub's help several times, opening three distinct cases and many follow-up emails. I got closed tickets with copy-paste answers that didn't fix anything. It has already been more than two months and I still cannot take my money out. Particularly for those with inactive accounts, it feels as though Sumsub purposefully hinders people at the penultimate stage. Should this not be quickly addressed, I might give legal thought some consideration.
