I Demand Review and Refund After Miniso Coerces Payment for Broken Merchandise

On the evening of March 14, 2026, at around 8:43 PM, while shopping at the Miniso store in Kadıköy, one of the Powerpuff Girls licensed stainless steel 900 ml straw tumblers broke after my bag accidentally bumped into it. I immediately notified the store staff of the situation; however, they stated that their merchandise was not insured and that I was required to pay for the item.

Despite my objections, they pressured me by repeatedly insisting "you have to pay," coercing me into making the payment. Although the retail price of the product was $42, they charged me $33, claiming they had "given me a discount." I find it completely unacceptable for an international brand to display such a pushy and unhelpful attitude toward a customer.

Instead of putting customers in such a difficult position, I request that they handle the process with a more empathetic and corporate approach, review the payment taken from me, and correct this error in a manner worthy of their brand.
