I Can’t Change My Password or Add Fingerprint on My Windows 10 Laptop

I’m having a serious issue with my Windows 10 laptop. I can’t change the password I use to log into my device, and I’m also unable to add my fingerprint. Every time I try to set up fingerprint login, I get the same error message:
“Something went wrong. Please try again later.”

On top of that, Windows Hello PIN is also unavailable, leaving me with no secure biometric or PIN-based login option. I’ve tried restarting, updating the system, and checking settings—nothing works. It’s extremely frustrating to be locked out of basic security features that should be fully functional on a licensed Windows 10 system.

Microsoft, this needs to be fixed immediately. I’m asking for a clear and effective solution to regain full access to my login settings, including fingerprint recognition and PIN setup. These are not premium features—they’re fundamental parts of the OS, and they should work properly. Please address this with a step-by-step fix or an update that resolves the issue permanently.
