Recovery of USDT From MEXC Exchange

I transferred USDT from OKX X-layer to MEXC using the OKT Network, expecting it to be received in my MEXC exchange account. Unfortunately, the USDT was not received due to the network selected. Now, MEXC is trying to charge a $20 fee against my total of just 39.9091 USDT. This fee demand from MEXC is unjustified. Please help me retrieve my funds.
