Over ₺5,599.94 total in unauthorized charges was made to my stolen credit cards through iyzico and MetaPay without my knowledge or permission. Specifically, there were four unauthorized transactions of ₺1,399.99 each (about $32 USD each, totaling about $128 USD) and two unauthorized transactions of ₺399.99 each (about $9 USD each, totaling about $18 USD). Altogether, this adds up to more than $145 USD in unauthorized charges that I never approved.
These platforms are allowing credit card transactions without verification, and they offer services without requiring a password or proper authentication. This practice puts cardholders’ financial security at serious risk. I did not authorize any of these charges, and we should not have to bear the consequences of weak transaction protections. These companies must stop allowing unchecked charges, investigate how this happened, and refund all unauthorized amounts immediately.
