I purchased the Maybelline New York Lash mascara from the Watsons store at Cevahir Mall in Istanbul. From the very first use, the product caused serious eye pain and styes each time I applied it. On the morning of 19 August, I even woke up with a swollen eye after using the mascara the previous day.
I have used other mascaras for a long time and never experienced such a reaction before. I checked the packaging and the expiration date carefully, and there was no sign of an issue. I still have the receipt and can provide it if necessary.
This situation has not only been disappointing but has also caused a real health concern for me. I expect Maybelline New York to take responsibility, investigate this problem, and provide a proper solution—whether it be a refund, replacement, or further action to prevent such harmful reactions for customers in the future.
