Mavi Customer Service Approved Then Denied My Jeans Return

About 40 days ago, I purchased one pair of jeans from the Mavi store at Elazığ Elisyum Mall. After a short period of use, the jeans noticeably stretched out and completely lost their original shape.
I reported the issue to the store and submitted the product for inspection. When I called Customer Service, I was told that the claim had been approved—I have voice recordings of this conversation and can share them if needed. However, yesterday I received a message stating that the claim was denied and that I could pick up the product from the store.
Even though there is obvious stretching and loss of shape, the company claims it is not a manufacturing defect and refuses to take responsibility. This has left me extremely dissatisfied.
I paid $67 for these jeans and I am requesting a refund or at least an exchange. I believe the product is defective, and it is not normal for jeans to deteriorate this quickly. I am asking for a fair resolution to address my complaint.
Progress
I bought a Jake model denim jeans from the Mavi store in Elazığ Elisyum Mall about 3–4 months ago. After I started using the product regularly, by the second week the jeans had expanded by about two sizes and no longer fit me.
Because of this issue, I sent the product for inspection in January 2026. However, the store did not accept the obvious size‑increase problem in any way and offered me no solution. Even though I have photos showing the difference between the old and new condition of the product, it really upset me that Mavi, a brand I have shopped with for years, does not stand behind its product.
I request that the Jake model jeans be recognized as defective and be exchanged. I ask that my grievance be resolved as soon as possible.
