My Macfit membership was set to expire in December 2023. Upon visiting the gym and expressing my desire not to continue, I was told all I needed to do was cancel through the mobile app. I promptly ended my membership, even showing the staff my confirmation. However, to my shock, I discovered on January 13th, a whopping ₺3109 had been deducted from my account. Checking the Macfit app, I found that my supposedly "non-committal" membership had been renewed without consent, and they charged me ₺3109 monthly. My deactivated profile had been reactivated by Macfit itself, and they mercilessly took money from my card.
