MacFit Fraudulent Gym
This is to let you know that I have fallen victim to MacFit gym's unprofessional, fraudulent, and unethical system. They called me a few weeks back when my subscription expired to see if I wanted to renew it, and given that I don't speak Turkish, I asked my fiancé to convey the message. I discovered today that not only did they renew my subscription "indefinitely," but they also charged me more. They sent an email two days later after increasing their members' fees to let them know that this is the new fee given the inflation. I tried reaching out to them via their WhatsApp mechanism; no response. I tried emailing them; no response. I tried going into the app to remove my card; but the system didn't allow me. It says I have to add another one before removing the current one. I tried "canceling" my subscription; it said I would be charged with a penalty! I asked my fiancé to call them; they said they couldn't accept his request, even though he explained that I am currently traveling outside of Türkiye and I cannot speak the language. I am waiting to arrive in Türkiye to request my bank to block them from using my card. Please beware of this fraudulent gym and never trust them with your credit card. Shame.
