L’Oréal Excellence 6.0 was one of the worst hair dye experiences I’ve ever had. I deeply regret using it. Not only did it fail to color my hair properly, but it also didn’t cover my grays, and the dyed areas turned an unpleasant orange shade—nowhere near the natural brown it promised.
What’s worse is the overpowering chemical smell. It was so strong I literally couldn’t stand it. The fumes burned my nose and eyes, and the dye itself made my scalp itch and sting intensely. After application, I noticed redness and irritation all over my scalp. I've never had such a reaction before, not even with cheaper brands.
Typically, I don’t shampoo right after coloring, as recommended. But with this dye, the smell was unbearable. I had to wash my hair three days in a row just to tone it down to a tolerable level. It's been a month, and I still haven’t been able to dye my hair again out of fear. I’m relying solely on natural oils to repair the damage.
I paid good money expecting quality from a brand like L’Oréal, and instead, I’m left with damaged hair, lingering chemical scent, and zero results. I demand a full explanation and refund. No one should have to go through this. L’Oréal needs to seriously review the formula and ensure safety and consistency for its customers.
