I want to share my negative experience with the L’Oréal Paris Excellence Intense 6.66 hair dye. I’ve been dyeing my own hair for nearly 20 years using a variety of brands and shades, so I’m quite experienced with home coloring. Until now, I had never encountered such a disappointing result.
I purchased this product from the Balıkesir Migros branch, hoping to refresh my already cherry red hair and bring vibrance back to the roots. The box promised an intense, vivid red tone with a glossy finish, which is exactly what I was aiming for. Instead, my roots turned out a muddy mix of orange and brown—completely off from what was advertised.
I followed all instructions to the letter, yet the outcome didn’t even come close to the promised shade. It’s incredibly upsetting to lose the striking red tone I worked hard to maintain, especially from a product sold under the name “Excellence Intense.”
What’s worse is that I’ve used countless hair dyes over the years and typically achieve the right result on the first try. The fact that such a well-known brand like L’Oréal failed to deliver is extremely disappointing. I also paid ₺300, which now feels completely wasted.
I’m asking L’Oréal to acknowledge that this product does not deliver the color shown on the box and to take steps to prevent other customers from facing the same issue. I expect either a refund or a proper solution to this frustrating experience. Please take action and ensure your product performs as promised.
