I recently used L’Oréal Paris Excellence 6.1 Ash Dark Blonde Hair Dye, expecting the cool-toned ash brown shade shown on the box. I followed every single instruction carefully—used the included purple shampoo and mask—and still ended up with a reddish tone, which was the exact opposite of what I wanted.
The result was nowhere near the advertised color. I deliberately chose this shade to avoid warm or red undertones, but that's exactly what I got. I’m extremely disappointed. Because of this, I was forced to dye my hair again, knowing full well that doing so back-to-back would damage it—but I had no other choice. The color was completely off and made my hair look nothing like what was promised.
I chose L’Oréal because I trusted the brand, but this experience makes me question their product consistency. I want a full refund for the ₺ I spent and expect the company to take feedback like this seriously. If the product doesn’t deliver the color it advertises—even with proper use—then customers like me are left with costly damage, both financially and physically. Please take responsibility and improve the formula.
