I Tried L'Oréal Revitalift Toner and It Burned My Face and Left a Sour Aftertaste

I’ve been a loyal user of L'Oréal's Revitalift line for years, so I decided to give their toner a try. Big mistake. This is hands-down the worst toner I’ve ever used—and I’ve tried many from major brands. The moment I applied it, my face started burning intensely. It didn’t just sting—it felt like acid. Out of curiosity, I wiped it near my lips and accidentally tasted it. It was horribly sour, like lemon juice. For a global brand like L'Oréal, this kind of product quality is unacceptable.

Even after trying to force myself to use it—because I spent good money on it, expecting quality—I just can't. My skin feels irritated, and I have to wash my face twice after applying just to reduce the stinging and sourness. Normally, I apply cream right after toner, but not with this one. It’s both a waste of time and incredibly uncomfortable.

If L'Oréal has a gentler, non-burning toner from a different series, I’d appreciate an exchange. Otherwise, this will be the last time I purchase anything from this brand. A product shouldn’t make your skin feel worse, especially one that claims to revitalize. L'Oréal, please take this seriously and address the issue!

No one called or checked on me. I used to think this company was reputable, but I will never buy a single product from them again. Apparently, they don't stand behind their poor products and only care about the money they make at that moment. Losing one customer means losing 20 customers; it's up to you.
