On June 11, 2025, I purchased a Lee Cooper automatic watch, model lc07905.390, from the İzmit Saat Evi store. Since the day I bought it, the watch has been running about one minute fast every five days. Even though the product is only two months old, and I believe this is not normal, the problem has still not been resolved.
I first returned the watch to the store on November 22. I was told that the problem had been identified and fixed, but when I received the watch back, it continued to run fast in the same way. As a result, I returned it again on December 27, and I received the watch back today.
Arıkan Technical Service claims that there is no problem with the watch, yet they also acknowledge that the watch is running fast and state that they consider this to be normal. In addition, the seller demanded a $4 shipping fee from me (150 Turkish lira converted to USD) and claimed that such deviations are normal for automatic watches.
I strongly disagree with accepting a brand-new, two-month-old watch that constantly runs fast as normal, especially while also being asked to pay a shipping fee. I request that my watch be properly repaired to operate accurately according to chronometer standards, or if the defect cannot be resolved, that the product be replaced or refunded. I also request that the shipping fee not be charged to me.
