On October 25, 2021, I purchased a KitchenAid 5KSM 4.8L stand mixer from KitchenAid’s official website. I regularly use the dough hook, and a few months ago I noticed small speck-like coating flakes on its surface. Over time, the flaking increased, and now pieces come off even when washing the hook under water. As someone who makes bread frequently, I never expected a quality brand like KitchenAid to have such an issue.
