Some time ago, I purchased a lipstick from a Kiko store and also gifted the same product to a friend. During the first use, neither of us encountered any issues. However, after several uses, both products began emitting a strong, unpleasant plastic or chemical odor. Over time, this smell became more intense, making it impossible to continue using the lipstick.
When I discussed the situation with my friend, she confirmed experiencing the same problem and also stopped using the product. We visited the Kiko store to report the issue, but the staff refused to help, claiming that no action could be taken since the product had been used.
I believe this is a quality issue originating from the product itself, possibly due to a manufacturing defect or improper storage. The unpleasant odor did not exist when we first opened the lipstick, which suggests that the deterioration occurred over time and is not the result of user error.
For the sake of product safety and customer satisfaction, I request that Kiko investigate this issue thoroughly. I expect a fair resolution, such as a refund or replacement for both lipsticks.
