I recently purchased a brand new 2025 Kia EV6 Elegance Standard Range electric vehicle. When buying the car, I was explicitly told the city range was 644 km and the combined (mixed) range was 428 km. These figures were key selling points and heavily emphasized by the dealer. Kia is clearly using these advertised long ranges to drive up sales.
However, in reality, the vehicle comes nowhere close to these numbers. Today, with 100% charge and weather at 30°C, my dashboard only shows a range of 380 km. I was hoping at the very least to get 500 km in city driving, but I can't even reach 400 km, even under ideal conditions.
This level of misrepresentation is completely unacceptable. It feels like I was deliberately misled at the time of purchase. These inflated range claims are damaging customers’ trust and result in daily usage problems and disappointment.
