On 23.06.2025 at 17:30, I took delivery of my brand-new Kia XCeed Elegance, expecting a flawless driving experience. Shockingly, the very next morning when I tried to start the vehicle to go to work, all the warning lights came on, and none of the car's core functions worked. The car was completely non-functional aside from the engine starting.
I immediately took the car to the dealership service center that afternoon. They connected the car to diagnostics and told me that the battery was nearly depleted, causing these malfunctions. They charged the battery slightly, cleared the error codes, and handed the car back to me without replacing any faulty parts.
However, this morning on 25.06.2025 at 07:00, the exact same issue occurred. Every warning light lit up again, and critical safety systems such as the steering, lane assist, auto-hold, engine RPM display, driver attention warning, and collision avoidance were all non-functional. The car was only able to move forward and brake— nothing more. For a brand-new vehicle that costs nearly ₺2 million, this is absolutely unacceptable.
We are taking the car back to the service center today, but we are not confident that they will provide a permanent solution. This has caused us serious emotional distress and financial anxiety, as we invested in a new vehicle expecting reliability and peace of mind.
I demand that Kia immediately repair or replace the faulty components under warranty and ensure that the vehicle is safe and fully operational. If this issue is not resolved swiftly and permanently, I will initiate all necessary legal actions to protect my consumer rights. Please take this matter seriously and restore our trust in your brand.
