Jeep Grand Cherokee's Airbag Didn't Deploy in Critical Incident

On June 14th, 2024, while heading to visit family with my wife and two kids in our Jeep Grand Cherokee, something unexpected happened. It was around 8:00 PM when I had to quickly swerve to avoid hitting some cattle on the road. Unfortunately, this caused me to lose control of the vehicle, and we ended up hitting a water channel, resulting in the car flipping onto its side. Despite our precautions, my wife unfortunately sustained an injury to her left arm and had to be transported to the hospital by ambulance. Given the nature of the accident, the required statements were provided at the police station as part of the forensic investigation. Despite the sturdy and secure cabin of the vehicle I was in, it was disappointing that none of the 6 airbags were deployed during the accident. From the attached pictures, it is evident that the vehicle experienced significant damage to the rear luggage pillar after being struck on the front bumper, causing it to tilt sharply to the side. The impact caused the rear coupe/cabin of the vehicle to tilt to the left. Given the significant safety concern of the airbags failing to deploy after a severe impact, which is not in line with the reputation of the Jeep brand, I would like to express my dissatisfaction and request to be kept informed about this matter.
