IQ Boost Charged Me Without Consent for a Hidden Premium Membership
I used the IQ Boost website to purchase a single document and paid only ₺20 for that service. I never signed up for any subscription or membership. However, to my shock, my credit card was later charged ₺1600 in March and another ₺1800 in April, totaling a completely unauthorized withdrawal of ₺3400.
I never agreed to any Premium membership, nor was I informed that such a charge would occur. They enrolled me in this so-called subscription without my knowledge or consent. I immediately canceled the membership and tried to reach out to their support via email multiple times, but I have received no response whatsoever.
I’ve already filed a dispute with my bank regarding these charges. If I don’t get a resolution, I will escalate this issue to the Consumer Arbitration Board, CİMER, and every other relevant legal authority.
IQ Boost must take accountability for this deceptive practice and refund the ₺3400 they withdrew without consent. This kind of silent billing and lack of customer support is unacceptable. I expect this matter to be addressed urgently.
As a result of the dispute process regarding my spending with my bank, a total of 3,400 TL that was withdrawn from my account without my permission was refunded to me. Although I contacted Iqboost, they informed me that they could not refund my money. My grievance was resolved thanks to my bank.
