The Instacart app or website lets you report quality issues like wilted lettuce or mushy strawberries. You have four days after pickup or delivery to self-report order issues. Instant credit is available for missing, incorrect, expired, damaged, or spoiled items and poor replacements.
The app lets you report order issues by going to the Orders section under the Account tab, selecting the order, and tapping "Get help." Choose the issue, select the affected item(s), and choose a credit to your Instacart account or contact Customer Experience.
Visit Your Orders, click "Report a problem" on the relevant order, and select the issue to report. Like the app, you can select affected items and request an Instacart credit or contact Customer Experience.
Instacart may refund or credit eligible issues, depending on the situation. Credits and refunds will be confirmed via email, and Instacart will notify you of any other issues. Contact the Care team if you prefer a refund over a credit.
