Superprof Charged My Card When I Only Tried to Contact a Tutor
I clicked on the profile of a tutor named M** on Superprof** to contact them, and in the prompt that appeared, I selected the option that said “request now.” I was then asked to enter my credit card information. Since this step appeared to be mandatory in order to access the service and contact the tutor, I entered my card details.
However, I was never able to communicate with the tutor in any way. Despite this, I later noticed that $7 was charged to my card today. I did not knowingly or clearly approve this payment as a membership fee or as a charge for any separate service. I believed it was simply a required step to reach the tutor. As a result, I did not receive any lesson, did not benefit from any service, and my $7 was taken without providing value.
I am requesting that Superprof refund the $7 charged to my card as soon as possible, since I received no service in return for this payment.
