My local authorized service center informed me that I am no longer eligible for a free repair or replacement of the item in question. This looks to me like a snare because a malfunction that occurs repeatedly after the warranty period is up indicates that the product is defective. As a direct consequence of this, I demand a refund for the item that I purchased.
