Hotels.com Double Booking and Customer Service Issue
I experienced major problems in two consecutive bookings through the hotels.com website. For the travel program number 72630679993427 at the Cunda Life hotel, this site failed to communicate my reservation. On August 15, 2023, at 8:30 PM, I spoke multiple times with both the street hotel and the customer service of this site. I attempted to contact online customer service three times, but the connection kept dropping. Later, I explained my issue through their 0800 numbers. If you don't speak English or can't reach customer service late at night, it's a problem. At one point, a person from the relocation unit of this site in England, a translator, myself, and the owner of Cunda Life hotel had a conference call. It was like a joke. Then hotels.com had to find us another hotel, and when the issue was resolved, it was already midnight. The next day, for the previously arranged travel program number 72630715788618 at the Mavi Deniz Boutique hotel, we stayed in Mudanya. However, the room shown on the site was not arranged. The hotel owner lady stated that the room was not suitable for 3 adults and was windowless. She mentioned that she would provide a more suitable room for the family with a 300 TL difference. Why were the room details given as suitable for 3 adults on the site, and why was there a window image in the relevant picture? She asked me to cancel the reservation on the site. I mentioned that if I cancel this reservation, I won't get a refund. Then she said she would cancel it through the system. Despite mentioning the previous day's issues and our exhaustion from the journey, she was angry and agitated, treating it as if I had created the problem. The next day, she didn't even look at us. It was as if we forcefully took the room, and she made countless unpleasant faces.

Dear Sir/Madam, Thank you for your response. You can find the invoice attached, showing the payment we made to Mavi Deniz Boutique Hotel, Mudanya. According to the reservation with travel program number 72630715788618 on your site, a payment of 1,350.01 TL is shown. However, as you can see in the attached invoice, Mavi Deniz Boutique Hotel has charged us 1,600 TL. I also mentioned the same in my reply to the email you sent me.
