Hotels.com Charged for Sea View Room but Gave Standard Room Instead


I booked a sea view room through Hotels.com, paying extra for this option among 8 different room types. However, when I arrived at the hotel, they informed me that my reservation was for a standard room. I contacted Hotels.com, and instead of resolving the issue, they were dismissive and even rude, saying, “Don’t you understand what you selected?”
When I tried to send photo evidence of my booking, they brushed me off, claiming they couldn’t accept emails. This is the second time Hotels.com has done this to me. It’s a major disappointment and completely unacceptable. I’m attaching the pictures here to show what happened. Hotels.com, I demand an explanation and compensation for this mistake. This level of service is unacceptable.
