Hotels.com Canceled My Booking but Still Hasn’t Refunded Me After a Month

I made a hotel reservation through Hotels.com, but I realized I had booked the wrong room. I immediately contacted customer support to correct the issue. The representative assured me that the cancellation was processed, the hotel had approved the refund, and I would receive my money back within 7-10 business days.
Well, it has been almost a month, and I still haven't received my refund! I have contacted customer service multiple times, yet I get no real response—just the same scripted answers: "We will send you an email." But guess what? No email ever arrives!
Hotels.com clearly does not care about its customers. There is no direct support number, and all communication is through virtual agents who offer no real help. This is unacceptable! I will never book with Hotels.com again. I need my refund processed immediately!
