In the Izmir Gaziemir Optimum mall, where "open" chocolate is sold for ₺140 per handful, I came across a shocking situation at the chocolate stand that is named after the Haribo brand and is currently operating. In response to my expression of dismay regarding the exorbitant price, the employee disclosed that the price per kilogram is ₺1,350, which is equivalent to one thousand three hundred fifty Turkish liras. A price that is so outrageously high is an unacceptable one.
