Because my Grundig dishwasher caught fire in the evening, I won't let anyone fix it. I can't take a chance on a problem that could kill me happening again. I asked that the problem be fixed by getting a new dishwasher and paying the difference in price for another model. But since April 27, we haven't made any progress at all in the last two weeks. Even though we have an official report from the authorized service, the regional management won't let us move forward. Why? They should either replace the product or give us a written promise along with the repair that says "No similar problem or part being fixed will pose a life-threatening risk, like a fire." We've said we're willing to let them fix it if they promise to do so, but we haven't been able to come up with a solution. We need to move quickly!
