Garmin Nuvi 1410 No Longer Receiving Map Updates – What About Lifetime Updates?

I’ve been using the Garmin Nuvi 1410, but I’ve noticed that Garmin hasn’t provided any map updates for a long time. When I reached out to customer service, I was told that the last update was in 2020 and no new updates will be released. Does this mean Garmin is pulling out of the navigation market? What happens to the devices people already own? I was promised lifetime updates, so what will happen to all the new and changed roads? I need clarification on this situation as it affects the usability of my device. Garmin, please explain what users should expect going forward.
