I purchased the Garmin Nuvi 1410 navigation device with the promise of "lifetime map updates." However, no updates have been provided since August 2021. When I contacted the Turkey representative, Baytekin, they claimed the device is outdated and has too few users to justify continuing updates.
This explanation is unacceptable, as the "lifetime" promise was a key reason I chose this product. A company of Garmin’s reputation should honor its commitments and provide the service it advertised. Stopping updates without offering a solution is misleading and unfair to loyal customers.
I demand Garmin to either resume map updates for the Nuvi 1410 or offer a reasonable alternative. Breaking a lifetime promise erodes trust in the brand.
