Unauthorized Charges on My Garanti Bank Card
Hello, Today, I received multiple notification messages from Garanti Bank. I immediately called the bank, suspecting that unauthorized transactions were happening. They advised me to close my card, which I did. However, when I asked if they could cancel the transactions, they said they didn't have the authority to do so. They informed me that I needed to wait 24 hours and that I had approved the transactions through 3D Secure, which resulted in a charge of ₺14,500.
Additionally, there were two other messages indicating attempted charges of ₺10,200, which appeared to be approved by Iyzgo. I am requesting that Garanti Bank cancel these transactions. Despite the situation being straightforward, the bank claims they don't have the authority to act, leaving the cardholder entirely at a loss. If I dispute the charges, they will likely be rejected since they appear as 3D Secure approved.
