Gameforge.com Refused to Return My Stolen Account Despite Providing Proof

While I was playing without any issues, a friend I knew from the game and spoke with on Skype suggested I log into the support system to check if there were any problems with my account. I followed his advice, requested a password reset, and received the confirmation code via email. However, after a brief distraction, my account was stolen because the other party saw the confirmation code. I immediately contacted Gameforge.com’s support system and asked for my account to be locked. It took them about 3-4 hours to assist, but by then all my in-game belongings had already been stolen. During further conversations, they requested proof that the account belonged to me, which I provided in full. A game manager named A*** told me to create a new email that had never been associated with Gameforge before, and the account would be transferred to that address. I followed the instructions, updated the email in the support system, and reported it back to them. However, after about seven days, a foreign community manager named A*** claimed that the account had been bought for money and refused to return it, closing the case in an unprofessional and unhelpful manner.
I had already explained that I had obtained the account from the first owner through an in-game agreement using Won currency. It’s absurd that they initially accepted this explanation, only to later change their decision and hide behind a ridiculous excuse. They did not offer any compensation for my lost items, even though the person who stole them gained full profit. Despite this, I was willing to accept my account back, even without any items. Their inconsistency and refusal to return my account are laughable and frustrating.
I strongly advise against playing this game or supporting Gameforge. I hope new players see this message and reconsider starting the game. For better account security and peace of mind, playing on PVP servers might be a smarter option. Gameforge treats players as sources of revenue rather than customers and shows no concern for account security. My total loss amounts to approximately 3000 Won, or about ₺40,000 to ₺45,000, based on market calculations.
