FTMO Denied My Payout for Slightly Exceeding the 1 Percent Rule
I joined FTMO because I thought it would be a good chance for serious traders. When they put the 1% risk-per-trade regulation into effect, I thought I could deal with it because it appeared reasonable on paper. But in markets that move quickly, like NAS100 and gold, even little price changes can raise your risk above 1%, even if you properly plan your lot size and stop loss. During my verification period, I ended up making more over $2,000 in profit, but they denied my payout totally because I broke the guideline by a small amount—about 1.12% on one deal. FTMO support also took four days to respond to my message, which made it hard to manage deals or clear up anything on time. They need clearer rules and quicker ways to talk to each other.
