Franke Dominox "DA915 V WH A" Hood Repair Costs More Than New!

My Dominox "DA915 V WH A" hood malfunctioned, therefore I contacted the authorized Franke service center with whom I am linked. Today, Monday, February 19, 2024, I was phoned by service and advised that there is a card malfunction in my hood that requires replacement because it cannot be repaired. However, they asked ₺4,200 for the replacement card! This seems extravagant for a hood repair. I researched prices of similar products (known brands) online and discovered that brand new products range from ₺3,000 to ₺6,000. Should I be grieved that a product I purchased with faith in the brand 4-5 years ago, despite good use, failed in such a short period of time, or should I be unhappy that I am being charged nearly the price of a new product for repair? I really can't decide! If I do not receive assistance and attention from the firm regarding the product, I will consider purchasing a new one before picking it up from the service. After all, it is possible to find the best models from local brands for the stipulated price. In this regard, I am considering taking appropriate action via social media and exercising my legal rights.
