Bird Droppings Cause Bubbling in Ford Puma Paint
Buyers of Ford Puma, take note! I've had this car for 6 months and I'm still paying the installments. A bird dropped on the car and stayed for three days. When we washed it, we discovered that the paint had peeled off in 10-15 places. We initially thought the car had not been properly cleaned, but upon closer inspection, we noticed that the paint had bubbled and the whiteness underneath was visible. Around 5:00 PM, we went to the dealer where we bought the car, Gürbaşlar Otomotiv Ford Dealer in Istanbul Anadolu Hisar. I mention the time because, despite the fact that it was during working hours, they asked us to bring the car to their workshop rather than come to where we had the car towed. Even though they were mocking us and using sarcastic tones, they claimed that if bird droppings sit for 8 hours, this type of damage is normal. The sales representative was also dismissive, stating that there was nothing that could be done. They even mentioned that other Ford vehicles in the open parking lot might have the same bird-dropping problem. In short, be cautious when having your Ford vehicles serviced; the paint on Ford vehicles appears to bubble due to bird droppings. We received no response from Ford despite multiple emails. When we filed a complaint on Sikayetvar (a complaint website), they contacted us right away and said they would look into it. We received a response two weeks later stating that it was due to natural causes and that nothing could be done. They offered to cover a portion of the cost of the authorized dealer repainting the car's roof and hood. Finally, avoid purchasing Ford vehicles. We're still paying for it, and we have to see the car in this state.
