On June 4, I handed over my international shipment to FedEx in Istanbul for delivery to Algeria. The package arrived at Algerian customs on June 11. As the sender, I submitted multiple payment authorization documents to FedEx Algeria, clearly stating that all customs fees and related taxes should be billed to me. Despite sending these documents several times, I received no response from FedEx Algeria.
Later, the recipient in Algeria personally contacted the FedEx team and provided them with the payment authorization code. Although they claimed the issue was resolved, two more weeks passed without any further updates. When I contacted the FedEx Turkey main office, they repeatedly told me, “We’ve sent an email,” but provided no real explanation or resolution.
As of today, it has been 28 days since I shipped the package, and it has still not been delivered to the recipient in Algeria. This delay is unacceptable. FedEx's Istanbul office claims they cannot reach their own Algeria branch, which is extremely unprofessional for a global logistics company.
I explicitly request the immediate delivery of my package to the recipient and a full explanation of why FedEx failed to coordinate effectively across its own branches.
