FedEx Hidden Charges and Return Woes


I bought a product from China on July 14, 2023, and the seller assured me that FedEx would deliver it quickly. The seller even contacted FedEx to schedule the delivery. The product arrived in about a week, but customs officials classified it as an electronic device and placed it on the red list. Fedex requested the necessary documents, which I promptly provided, including payment and order information. Despite my efforts, the FedEx employees could not persuade the customs officers, and my product has been held at customs for over a week. To make matters worse, FedEx claims that if I want to return the item, I'll have to pay an exorbitant fee of 145 dollars, plus additional charges based on the size and weight of the product. This confusing system has caused me a great deal of frustration and disappointment.
